Mineral fertilizers

Products of inorganic origin that contain, at least, a chemical element that the plant needs for its life cycle. The most important characteristic of any fertilizer is that it must have the highest solubility so that it can dissolve in irrigation water, since the nutrients passively and actively enter the plant through the water flow.

Fertilization by scattering

With this method, the fertilizer is scattered on the entire land before or after planting. All forms of application in the furrow should be complemented by fertilizer scattering, depending on requirements.

Fertilization

Proper nutrition of the crop aimed at the highest possible yields, good product quality and preserving the crop strength and general conditions.

Fermented

Chemical change caused by yeasts and enzymes in raw coffee. A pronounced fermented flavor damages the coffee flavor.

Fermentation

Process carried out in fermentation tanks to remove the mucilage or mesocarp. It can last between 12 and 18 hours.

International expos

Attending expos and trade fairs is part of the strategy for positioning Colombian coffee as a relevant origin in gastronomic, social, and scientific experiences, and especially as a drink that cannot be missing in different consumption occasions.

FNC

In 1927, Colombian coffee growers joined together to create an organization that would represent them nationally and internationally, work for their well-being, and improve their quality of life. In this way the Colombian Coffee Growers Federation (FNC) was born, seen today as one of the largest rural NGOs in the world.

Yield factor
