On December 12, 2002, the first Juan Valdez® coffee shop opened its doors at El Dorado International Airport in Bogotá, starting a history of dreams and great achievements for Colombian premium coffee.

Research

The National Coffee Research Center (Cenicafé) generates, with a regional approach, appropriate, competitive and sustainable technologies. In addition, it develops improved coffee varieties and produces their seeds for distribution to coffee growers through the departmental committees of coffee growers.
